Last updated: May 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how 0x Code Limited ("0x Code", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It applies to all apps published by 0x Code Limited, including Better BC Assessment and any future apps that link to this policy.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@0x.company.

Summary

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

We collect information you give us directly, such as when you contact us, fill out a form, or submit content within an app. This may include your name, email address, and the contents of your message or submission.

Information collected automatically

When you use our Services we automatically receive certain technical information, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, approximate region (derived from IP address), and basic usage events (for example, when a screen is opened or an action fails). This information helps us diagnose problems and improve the Services. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Permissions some apps may request

You can change or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device settings.

Sensitive information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, financial account numbers, health data, biometric data, or precise religious or political views).

2. How we use information

We only process your information when we have a valid reason to do so under applicable law.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, we rely on the following bases:

4. When and with whom we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

5. Third-party services

Our apps may rely on platform services provided by Apple, Google, and infrastructure providers such as our hosting platform. These providers process limited technical data under their own privacy policies. Our Services may also link to third-party websites; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses only the cookies and local storage needed to make the site work and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our mobile apps do not use advertising SDKs.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Diagnostic logs are typically retained for no more than 90 days.

8. Security

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, restricted access, and regular review of our practices. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure; you use the Services at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your devices and accounts protected.

9. Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Users in California (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion, and not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@0x.company. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Do-Not-Track signals

Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Because there is no agreed standard for how DNT should be handled, our Services do not currently respond to DNT signals. We do, however, limit tracking as described above.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on our website or within the relevant app. Your continued use of the Services after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
